“I organised a dried flower crown workshop with Alex for my friend’s hen do in Brighton and it was a huge success. Alex responded to emails quickly and even allowed the bride to be to have her own pale colour theme whilst the other girls had more bold colours. On the day she arrived at our air bnb on time to set up the table and lay out the beautiful selection of dried flowers in individual pots. Alex was a great teacher and made the workshop fun and relaxing. Before leaving she tidied up and left the place spotless. The flower crowns survived our night out and the journey home the next day! A massive thank you to Alex.” Thanusha, April 2023

“I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the flower crown workshop on Saturday, it was absolutely fantastic! Everyone loved it and we wore our flower crowns out for the day!” Chloe, May 2024
Hiya, I’m Alex, your florist tutor.
I’ve spent the past 8 years working with flowers. People laugh when I can name all the varieties they show me pictures of, but knowing what they're all called is my version of knowing everyone’s name in the office.
I’ve made floral arrangements for BBC TV and Wimbledon Tennis players but my greatest joy is teaching flower tutorials and workshops to give you a little break and time to really connect and switch off.
“I was planning a secret Hen Do for my lovely friend, but wasn’t sure which city she would like to visit. I knew that flower crowns were right up her street, so when I came across Webb and Farrer, I just knew we had to come to Brighton!
Alex was so accommodating from the minute I booked the workshop. She helped us to create the perfect flower crowns, and our bride could not have been more thrilled with her Hen Do surprise 😍
I would recommend Alex’s workshops to anyone (even non-crafty people like me!)… I just wish I lived closer to Brighton so I could do it more often. Thank you so much for a lovely day!” Evie, August 2023
